Michael Korklan is a SISLT alum who works as a School Library Media Specialist at West Boulevard Elementary School in Columbia, Missouri

Denice Adkins received her MLS and Ph.D. from the School of Information Resources and Library Science at the University of Arizona. She has professional experience in academic and public libraries, working with patrons of diverse backgrounds and ages. She has taught at the University of Denver and University at Buffalo, and is an active member of REFORMA (The National Association to Promote Library and Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish-speaking).
Linda R. Esser is a Clinical Instructor in the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies. She earned her Ed. D. at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, in 1999 and also holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the same institution.

Esser's teaching and research focus is on school media librarianship. She teaches courses related to certification as a library media specialist in Missouri, including library media program administration and curriculum integration. Her research interests center on the intersection of the personal and professional lives of women who are library media specialists.

Prior to joining the SISLT faculty, Dr. Esser taught at Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky and Spalding University, Louisville, Kentucky. She has work experience as both a children's librarian in a public library setting and a K-12 library media specialist.
