Denice Adkins received her MLS and Ph.D. from the School of Information Resources and Library Science at the University of Arizona. She has professional experience in academic and public libraries, working with patrons of diverse backgrounds and ages. She has taught at the University of Denver and University at Buffalo, and is an active member of REFORMA (The National Association to Promote Library and Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish-speaking).
